Long Term Hire

Jacob Excavations offers hire arrangements for both approved account clients and new or short-term customers. The applicable terms depend on the type of hire, the length of hire, the customer’s account status, and the equipment or services required.

For approved commercial clients requiring ongoing or long-term hire arrangements, Jacob Excavations may offer hire under our Approved Account Long-Term Hire Terms and Conditions (to view click the button below).

Approved Account Long-Term Hire Terms and Conditions.

These arrangements are generally available only to clients who have completed a credit assessment and have been accepted for account trading. Payment terms, invoicing arrangements, site responsibilities, equipment use, damage, delays and other hire conditions are set out in the approved account hire agreement.

Short Term Hire

For new customers, residential customers, casual users, or short-term hire arrangements, Jacob Excavations generally uses our Short-Term Public Hire Terms and Condition (to view click the button below).

These terms may require upfront payment, a refundable bond or credit card pre-authorisation, and confirmation of site access and safety requirements before hire commences.

All customers are encouraged to read the relevant terms before confirming a booking. Jacob Excavations may require a signed hire agreement before equipment is supplied, machinery is delivered, or work commences. The terms are designed to clearly explain each party’s responsibilities and to help ensure hire arrangements are safe, fair and properly understood.
